About

This textbook was created as part of the EEEN31001 module Independent Study and Technical Explanations, during the 3rd year of the Computer Science course at University of Manchester. The original target audience was other students on the same course, of which COMP24112 Machine Learning was an optional module with a high student uptake, though the AI modules are generally less iterated than some of the older modules.

This textbook draws from current research in the field of LLMs, current research in the realm of teaching and learning, and the general population’s interactions with modern AI tools, whilst simultaneously aiming to extract the more timeless innovations and trends.
